95 Liberty EL:
Here is a not so good picture of the "spash shield" by the cook top. Evidently this sucker is supposed to light up. Is there a dedicated switch or does it come on in conjunction with other lights: the Tivoli lights, for example.
Dang! Tried to edit the spelling in the title: Where is the switch?

Try tivoli accent lighting. We have separate switches for stuff like that.

Jim I got a chuckle when I viewed your photo. I could tell by your array of tools you were totally enjoying yourself.
Nothing like a project that requires bringing out a few tools:eek: Looks like I got the title wrong too, ecstasy.

Jim,
That etched glass looks great when lit.
But if Jon's tip for switch doesn't work good chance the ballast for the flourescent tube at the base of the glass has gone bad. I had the same issue and purchased a ballast from Thin lite.

Jim,
In our '94 there is a switch marked "Splash Shield" in the kitchen switch panel. The Tivoli master switch must be on for it to work. If you got that far and still no worky, then Mike is probably right on. Could be the bulb too.

Splash shield light comes on when the "mid tivioli" is turned on. Turns out the bulb was loose.
Sometimes it is better to be lucky rather than good!
