Not to be a smart A$$, but it's a "Cone of Silence" I think Jon has one of these in his Hummer.

BTW, It is my wife's Hummer. The only time I drive it is when it is our tow vehicle and when it needs gas.

Your wife should know better than let you tow the Bummer behind the coach. Nothing beats up a vehicle more than pulling it back there. Or is that what the "Dome" or "Cone" is for.

They get dirty when you tow them. What else bad happens?

We towed our Jeep GC for about 200,000 miles and I got more stone chips when it was being driven by far than we ever got towing it.

Part of the criteria for her choice of a Hummer was it had to be our tow vehicle. She picked it over another Jeep.
