Got a price to replace the door glass and drivers side glass. Anyone have an opinion on the prices ?
2 fixed windows @ $408 ea.
2 sliders @ $543 ea.
labor $405
total $2307.
Also an additional estimate of $1521 for painting the frames of both windows due to the traditional paint blister problems.

Jim,
You can remove and replace them yourselves. Take the existing ones to a good glass company and they will either reseal the ones you have or duplicate them. If you contact the Lewster he will give you the pertinent poop.
You can use the huge savings to buy tires for the Jeep.

Jon, Great Idea ! ! An even better idea might be for you to do a side window seminar at our next Rally.

Hi Jim,
Try http://www.motionwindows.com/. We replaced our front windows with these from Peninsula Glass in Vancouver, WA. They are excellent quality, install easily and are reasonably priced. They do however require exact measurements which require that you remove your existing windows before ordering. Due to an issue I had with the owner of the company, I highly recommend you comply with this policy. The windows are not dual pane which is a plus in my opinion. They are black anodized and look very nice. They are also fitted with easily removable sliding screens.
