I can't believe we live in a bus!

We are now officially full timing! So far so good, we even spent our first night at a Wal-Mart (I didn't notice the railroad tracks next to the bus, but sure did notice the train horn at 2:00 am!).

There was a significant design flaw with respect to the seats I had installed for the children... they can't see out of the windows. The bus is currently at Panterra Coach, they are building a platform to raise the seats about 10 inches (stadium seating in the bus).

The bus seems to be running fine and I have about 2,000 miles under my belt, I enjoy driving it (with the exception of construction areas).

We are going to hit Chicago next week (heads up Joe). Has anyone ever stayed at the casino in Joliet, it is in Big Rigs Best Bets?

Hey, congratulations on achieving full-timer status. My wife and I have been full-timing for 5 years now, and wouldn't trade it for anything.

Everytime we think that "now" might make sense to buy or build a house because the market's right, or interest rates are low, or great deals pop up, we decide that we're just not ready yet to give up the lifestyle.

I think you'll find that full-timing grows on you and it's hard to "settle" for a house that you can't take to a better neighborhood any time you want.

whooo hoooo! congrats!
when bill convinced me to hit the road fulltime, i told him i would commit to the lifestyle for 2 years. well, POG I was 2 weeks into it - and 17 months later we are still speaking to eachother! if he told me today that come the 2-year mark we were done moving around i would be in panic mode. way too much left to see and do . . .
