Route/Parking - Boston to Washington, DC

We have been drifting down from Canada along the coast to Boston.

Looking for comments/suggestions on route from Boston to DC. Thinking about I-90W to Albany; I-88 to Binghamton; I-81 to Hagerstown; I-70/270 to College Park.

Also, any suggested places to stay along the way. Plan on Cherry Hill Park in College Park.

PS: Not interested in downtown Manhattan!

Corona Kelly's absence kind of takes the bloom off the rose so to speak but will look you up if we get in the area.

Come to think of it, haven't seen her on the site for some time. Has she become camera shy?

Cooperstown if you have an interest in baseball.

Drift west a little in NY state to the Finger Lakes and there are numerous wineries.

Go flying in a glider in Elmira.

Go to the Corning Glass Works in (where else?) Corning.

In Reading PA is the grandmother of all outlets, the VF mall.
