Well I have been on the window removal up on the drivers side and have all of the exterior screw remove, tried to run a sharp blade down along side and aroun the outside and now I'm stuck. Do I have to remove the slider and if I do, How is that done?

Lew, I didn't see a red tag on your window, what are you up to?

Lew,
If you are just replacing the glass you don't need to remove the screws. You will cut the sealant around the glass with a drywall knife or other knife of choice and push on the inside to break the seal.

The entire unit includes the slide and if you need to remove it I would guess you have not applied enough pressure to the inside. Maybe someone put silicone seal or Sikaflex around the frame before installing the unit because it should come out fairly easily after the screws are removed. You might try and work your knife under the frame. Before using the knife, I would apply some masking tape around the window to help protect the paint.

If you need to replace both pieces of glass an alternative is to install entirely new units that aren't thermal-pane like the originals. That is what I did and I like them a lot. They can be purchased direct from Peninsula Glass Co. of Vancouver, WA. http://www.motionwindows.com/custom-recreation-vehicles.php. The cost of these windows is about the same as one piece of Prevost glass. They fit nicely, slide smoothly, the screws are on the inside so they look great, and they are not any more noisy than the Prevost windows.

Note of Caution: You will need to remove your window frames so you can give them the EXACT dimensions of your original windows. While these windows are of high quality and fit very well, I would caution you that the owner of Peninsula Glass is not a nice guy http://www.prevostownersgroup.com/forum/ http://www.prevostownersgroup.com/forum/http://www.prevostownersgroup.com/forum/ and I would suspect that warranty issues would be difficult to resolve.
