Jackson Hole

We're headng uout to WY in Aug and are looking for places to stay around Jackson Hole. Any ideas on places to stay and sites?

We stayed at the Virginian. It was okay, the folks were nice and it was pretty much in the middle of town, so that was convenient.

I would have to second Jerry. The Virginian was the only one we could find with room last year. The host said they planned on redoing the sites last fall to change from 90 degree entry to 30 degree which would be a plus.

We stayed there in 2005, tight spots, but great location right in town.

About 10 miles from the Jackson Hole resort.

Take the tram to the top of the mountain and enjoy about a 40 degree drop in temperature and a fantastic view.

Or take the mountain bikes and place on the back of the chairlift for a ride half way up the mountain.

But be careful as there are usually a few spills on the way down.

Or you can take the fast way down on a tandem Parasail from 12k feet.

Jackson Hole was one of the families favorite stops on our summer trip.
