On the trip north to NY State we acquired a leak in the generator. It was the outlet tube to the engine. Rught where the Zimmerman people pointed out I should replace the fuel line. Strange that that tube came loose right there.
I called Martin Industries and aske if I needed a whole new header and they said yes. I had tapped the leaking tube (carefully) back into the header and continued on home. I just finished cleaning about 99% of the diesel sauce that covered the generator area and the side of the coach.
I guess I was lucky there was no fire. Just the same, I replace the two fire extinguishers plus I have a couple of small halon extinguishers around. I onec was a fireman and (Ahem) fire commissioner ya know. Long time ago.
Should get the header in a couple days and will replace the fuel lines at the same time.
