Check this out...

You can see the before/after shots and more details at yachtforums.com ("http://www.yachtforums.com/forums/general-yachting-discussion/7055-splash.html")

I think that beats most bus towing stories.

Nice shot Ben, any comments from the guy on the aft deck? Looks like a no wake zone to me......

The Yacht guys have a similiar forum and according to their A1 the front strap simply slipped off the bow when the crane hesitated a bit. Normally these straps are secured to the side of the boat to prevent slipping. Oops. 1.8 mil, just a bit higher than a new Liberty.

I hate when that happens......I wonder how the crane operator feels. Is there a photo when they pulled it out?

You can see his arm, hanging out of the boat, just below where the other man is hanging on for dear life.

You can see the man's arm just above the rubber boat bumper on the right side of the picture or on the port side walkway?

OMG, I see that he could be getting kicked in the head by Guy No One:eek:

In boat racing we called that dunking, ( STUFFING IT ). Something to be avoided if at all possible, very bad for your health!!!!!!
