Good morning all!
My husband and I purchased a 2009 Prevost Liberty XLII in July and picked it up last week after some unforeseen repairs and updates. Quite the adventure. We were lucky to have a competent, kind and understanding dealer, but now that we are on our own, the questions and confusion are setting in.

We are new to owning a Prevost and to camping in all honesty. Go big or Go home, right? Not so sure now, but we do love it.

We started with a TT, didn't use it, time constraints...but learned some things. Traded for a B van, used a few times, bigger learning curve...just too small...now the Prevost! It's in a world of its own!
Wow!

After our introduction to the coach and driving it 1700+ miles home from TX to MA, I am Thanking God that all you seasoned and knowledgeable folks can help us newbies figure things out so we can stop driving the wonderful folks at Legacy crazy. At least that is the plan and hopefully forming a relationship with both Liberty Coach and Prevost.
Believe me...the Legacy Coach folks have been saints. Every day seemed like a "what have we done now?" moment. They talked us through, after the calm down stage. I can laugh now, but at the time it wasn't much fun. I am sure some of you can relate. :(

The info contained in each of the threads on here is so very helpful and eases the level of stress we have been feeling with each new, perceived issue...daily.

Thank you all so very much and I am hoping that we don't mess things up too badly. Now to learn and enjoy! :o

All our best and looking forward to all your advice and know-how!!!

Welcome.

I cannot imagine a device as complicated as Prevost conversion being my first moho experience. Keep in mind, these beasts are closer to the space shuttle than they are a Honda. Even if you have someone else do the labor, the more you learn about your coach, the happier you will be as an owner.

Always here to help! Glad to hear that our friends at Legacy are still doing a great job. We are headed there shortly on our way home from the Royal Coach club rally in Mississippi

Hi Richard and I cannot agree with you more. It is definitely going to be a journey of learning. There are going to mistakes…second guessing and squabbles..lol, but we are so very excited about the next chapter in our lives. In one week we have learned a great deal and to try not to overthink…our biggest issue.
Thank you for leaving a kind comment filled with encouragement and some insight. Much appreciated! I am sure once I figure out this site….i will be pestering you all as well. :o

Hi Mark and Debbie!
Thank you for the welcome! We love the crew at Legacy. They have stepped up for every issue and they continue. Brandon just mentioned that if he knew us better, like now, he would have recommended a Royal.lol He knew we were set on the Liberty tho. The funny thing is we were wanting a Royal for its simplicity, but when the horsey coach came back online…we jumped and almost missed it. Phew!
We can’t wait to meet other Prevost folks and enjoy some good times.
All my best,
Barbara

Barbara, are you going to Prevost Plus in Ocala? Great way to learn more and get to know other owners
