Hello Everyone,

We are considering a Prevost but have run into one of the issues with bus ownership, we need a heated place to store it and it appears that heated storage is not easy to come by in Albuquerque. We want to be able to come and go during the winter so I'd prefer to not winterize but given the dearth of storage in Albuquerque winterizing maybe the only option. We are considering mid 2000 XLIIs, primarily a Royale. Can anyone share the process of winterizing a Royale?

If you end up with a Royal it will have the Aqua-hot system and if your able to find 50 amp storage it will safely maintain the water bay and house on electric element down to 30/40 degrees no problem or switch to the diesel burner and if will keep everything nice and happy down into the low teens or even lower and the diesel side operates off of 12 volts.

Winterizing a Prevost is no different than winterizing any high end RV or boat.
