Somfy Shade motor replacement?

The Somfy 12VDC LT28-A73 has been discontinued. Somfy's advice re: a single unit malfunction is to replace ALL motors in the coach with their 24VDC model (?!?!?). Has anyone found a practical solution/replacement for a bad motor? I have the lift/tilt type.

I've not found a replacement, but have fixed two of mine with epoxy and patience and some rat tail files.
Will the motor not turn? Or does it turn but the shade not move?
Mine was the latter and it was simply the plastic 'fingers' had sheered off inside the tube. I glued on more plastic fingers and ground them to fit the job.

We've just supplied 24V. If 24V is not convenient you can add a DC-DC converter or 120VAC to 24V power supply.
