View Full Version : Paint & Body recommendations in Texas
Hello. I have to fix an unfortunate incident with my coach and my house's gutter. I have already started the process with my insurance, but I also need to line up a quality paint & body place, hopefully one that will not take a really long time to complete the work. I am looking for any suggestions for shops in the Texas area. I am in central Texas, and am willing to travel up to 300 miles, but only for a shop with a track record of excellent work and minimal delays (honest time estimates). If you know of any, please reply! Thanks.

I believe Marathon and Prevost use these folks.

I’ve used Texas Custom Coach in Pipe Creek and he mostly works on Prevost, interior and exterior. All my work has been interior and it’s there now being remodeled. https://texascustomcoach.com (https://texascustomcoach.com/kitchings/)

Who would that be? I know a few but didn’t think they were known out of state.

A great guy who has owned a dozen and a half of professionally converted buses. His last one was an 01 XLII Liberty.
Wilton. always interested in meeting others with the same affliction. Hes currently looking for another.

Second that - Xtreme is topshelf and approved by Prevost as well. Reasonable pricing and just good people. I had them buff out some scratches and remove my Diamond Shield, amazing how well it all came out.

Good luck with driving US-59 in Texas. That highway is being converted/replaced with Interstate 69 and the effect is a torn up highway, detours and almost continuous construction zones for miles and miles and miles. I just drove it last week going from Tennessee to Conroe Texas. You can't be squeamish about concrete barriers on both sides and passing big trucks. Happy Trails...

It threw you off Les because you weren’t driving your bus! LOL. You think 59 is bad, try I-35 between Austin and Dallas - then another notable is I-10 at the LA/TX border, now that one takes the cake!
I did I10 at TX/LA on my maiden voyage home having only 12 hours driving this coach (and never driving a coach previously), so Ive already had a crash course in terrible highways.
I dont think I’ll need to go 59 as I am probably taking it to Texas Custom Coach.
