Anyone heading out to POG3 able to bring a standard BBQ sized propane tank in their coach? It doesn't necessarily need to be full, as I assume we can fill it in the Kerrville area. But, we need another tank for cooking brisket.

Anyone able to help?

Please let me know here.

Thanks,
Ray

Ray,
You can use ours.
We carry one routinely in the "camper":D for our own grill. Since I can't get the bay door open enough with the coach in garage to pick it up, I think it will need gas.

Lee,

That's great, thanks. I have a feeling we might be able to use 'em all!

Excellent Harry. Can't wait to get on the road. I'll see you Thursday at Beaudry's. Are you there yet?

Jim: You better hit the road to Kville in something. You don't want to miss the fun. They probably have a Park Model they will put you up in. If you are not there we will never tell you the good parts. :D

Actually, Harry they don't have Park Models at Buckhorn RV, but there are nice inexpensive hotels/motels, real close to the RV park in Kerrville.

I thought I may have to find some place to stay, but as it worked out we will have our little 39L Discovery to stay in, and admire all the Prevost's at POG III. :)

See you guys on Monday some time, as soon as I can get it loaded and headed North West.

I'll be there Harry, Staying in a Motel close by, but not too close! ;) :D :p
You be prepared to show me how to apply Rouge. I missed your last tutoring. How to work the buffer too!

Dale, Being computer illiterate I don't know how to make it do the animation, but you can look that kind of thing up on the net as: Animated GIF Avatar images. I had some difficulty using it on the POG site and Ray helped me out. At this time they do not work in the POG AVATAR, only the SIGNATURE location.

My understanding is that it is a specialty of some to create these images. I think a layman could do it with some study and guidance. It would be nice to be able to create your own around your personal images.

I first became aware of these images on my clock and watch collectors discussion board. They are very popular, usually someone's clock with animated functions (swinging pendulum, moving hands, etc. ) and sometimes audio!
:D :p JIM

Dale, If you search these GIF thingies, add FREE to the search, so you don't have to pay for the download.

If you are easily offended by porn, beware. Many of the animations from a search are sex related. :p

Just wondering, does anyone know if these animated avatars are animated when no one is viewing them?
Kinda like when a tree falls in the woods and no one is there to hear it, does it make a sound?
Furthermore if all the avatars are perpetually moving after they are created how much energy do they waste?

Mango Mike,
Where are you on your journey? Out of curiosity, no implications.
And Tom-T4U, The same.
And Shookie?
Managment is tight lipped about attendance. Something to do with the freedom of information act. So no one really knows who is attending POG-3 for sure except _________ and they won't tell. Therefore I can't ask about anyone else from the east except in general.

Everyone checkin with your overnight location. ( only if you want to )
( just know though when you get to Kerrville everyone there will know it)
Is Diesel about $3.00 everywhere? It is in OH.
Hope you don't mind that black exhaust, I must have a faulty injector, or maybe a loose nut or something.

I make a motion that we be allowed the use of more and animated emoticons in the posts.
Any seconds to that?

Truk is in Meridian, MS and we're about 160 miles ahead of the Mango Man who could catch up, but he can't bypass any place that has pig fixins.:p C'mon Jerk Chicken Boy, Big Red is making smoke and can't wait forever!

Anyone heard from Lew and his status?

This is a chance someone takes. I'm afraid to use some of the words that Jim uses, but he goes.

If JDUB gets a hold of the "Animated Emoticons", expect the Anaconda man to use them to the fullest.. Hang on to your hat!!!

Jim, you started something big.

I was really afraid of that, but who can resist being first at anything even if it's irritating and annoying? :p
This goes to prove again that all the ingredients often need is a catalyst.

This is what our bus looked like coming back from Santa Fe with a bad injector. I want to thank Jim for introducing me to the world of animation.

Did I mention PROPANE TANK
