There r more than a few 2 slide buses that have a queen bed mechanism that folds the top 1/3 up turning it into a day bed and also allowing someone to walk around the bottom of the bed with the slide in.

R these mechanisms something that the converters build from scratch or r they sourced out? I want one for my RV and I need another for my newest best friends Howard and Orange Crush.

Any help, pictures of your mechanism, identifying lables, anything u got lay it on me. My guess is u can build it from scratch best but mattresses how do they fold OK? No? The less the experimantation the better.

Please help.

Sorry I don't have any details for such a mechanism. However I have a 2 slide coach with a queen bed, but I can already walk around the bed when slid in without the mattress having to fold in half.

There is a world of these on the web but nothing configured to bend and shorten the way they work in the ones ive seen. Bet they build them.
Linear actuators connected to a 3 piece platform, one half size piece and 2 quarter size pieces at the head. Hindge the pieces togeather put the actuators under put some kind of slide runners bam. Take a queen and bend it right at halfway and make it suck right up against the headboard. Whos got one?

Sawzall with a long blade - mattress problem SOLVED!! (Of course this is from the same guy that is eliminating a steering assist cylinder and removing spring brakes from the TAG), so there is that.

Joe:

I think the Lippert makes the bed actuators for the SOB sticks and staples brands.

I've only see these to slightly lift the head to allow passage with the slides in and the use of a full length mattress. I've not seen one that goes to 90 degrees, maybe 45 at best.

You certainly have the skills to make one.
