Tire pressure

I have a 2000 H3-45, with new tire. The tires are 315/80,s. What is the tire pressure that I should have ? The tire say max @130 cold, but others say 110 on steers and 100 on all others. I am confused.

The proper way to determine tire pressure is to weigh the coach and use the Michelin tire chart that gives you the tire pressure based on weight. This is the only way to determine proper tire inflation, not what someone else uses in there coach.

Yes, I agree. However it will be some time before I can get a good weight check. So What should I have now ? Please plan on normal loads. Then just over some help even a solid best guess would be a start. Thanks.

I agree with prior posts, you need axel weights to get correct values for your coach.
But in the meantime here's my weights which are probably close to your weights.
Steer axle: 19740 lbs
Drive axle: 22860 lbs
Tag axle: 14800 lbs

I have 365 tires on steer and tag, so my tire pressures won't be the same.
But if I go to the michelin tables, https://www.michelinrvtires.com/reference-materials/load-and-inflation-tables/#/
and you select the 365 tires I have, you'll see my steer tires should be inflated to 115psi.
My Drive tires (315s) should be 85psi.
My Tag tires (365s) should be 80psi.

My coach is very heavy as I have it loaded with lots of crap, we live fulltime in it. So your axle weights might be a bit less, unlikely more.
So here's my guess on your weights and pressures, assuming 315s all around.
Steer: 18000lbs total (130psi)
Drive: 21000lbs total (85psi)
Tag: 14000lbs total (105psi).

Disclaimer: I'm guessing on your axel weights. Get those measured and you'll then have accurate inflation numbers for your individual coach.

The 110 in steers and 100 in the rears will get you by just fine until you get it weighed. I run 95 in the drive axle. 100 in tag FWIW.

I run 110 in my steers and 100 on tag and drive...In cold weather they go down to 100 in steers and 90 in tags...I never change them...I have Tire Monitors to make sure they are always property aired up. Usually when I turn on the monitor it take 10 to 15 minutes for the tires to sync up with the monitor.

You can get a weight at numerous truck stops. A CAT scale is a drive thru and 12 dollars at most places. Just google CAT scales. You can get it done in less than 15 minutes from on scale to visa card payment
