I just bought my first coach, a 2005 featherlite. Neither of the pocket doors are working. The switches are all lit up red but nothing happens when I push them. The breakers all seem to be good. Any ideas of what I can look for or try?

Is your air compressor on? They are likely air operated.

The step cover and slides are working so I’ll assume yes, the air compressor is working. How do I know if it’s electric or air operated?

The doors ended up being electric. The breaker didn’t look tripped and the light beside it was still lit but when I popped it off and back on the door started working. It must have been hung in between.

I had an enquiry yesterday. 2 air pocket door on a 98 Vantare have come off the tracks and how do u reattatch them?

My answer was depends how they r hanging and what exactly broke. Also suggested it is an inexact sience and could be a very challenging project.

How could my sugestions have been inproved? Also Has anyone diasbled air pocket doors due to leaks that were not easily accesable and what was the solution for holding them open and closed without air?

A simple solution is leave them open and intall these at the opening untill a reasonable fix can be done.

Im also interested in how do u remove a leaky air clyinder on a pocket door when its leaking?? Dying to hear the correct method.

I use these magnets for lots of things. I’m sure there’s one strong enough to hold a door.

After a bus gets up in age and these begin to be a problem I think something major needs to happen to eliminate the potential for a ongoing inconvienience. I am dying to hear about cylinder and track removal and replacement. Show me my ignorance by explaining how simple a solution u have. Please.

Chris magnets r good if u shut off air because the cylinder removal is unknown and difficult but many fall off tracks, stuff gets jammed in that shouldnt be there ect ect.

I considrred cutting a door in half to remove it and build the new door 2 piece too then hidden by a full piece and laminating it after its in. While its out make everything to your liking. Fix the air or eliminate it address the track mechinism. Thats a big job. Bathroom and bedroom door kinda important. Theres gotta be a correct way to fix whats there thats the first choice. What is it???
